The Astera Helios Tube RGB LED Tube Light (1.8', 8-Light Kit) is seriously rigged for the road. It comes with eight 1.8′ Helios RGB tubes and a hard, shippable charging case that includes a DMX-capable PowerBox that charges the tubes with them in the case. Astera provides a full array of mounting options with sixteen holders with cotter pin mounts and sixteen spigots for linking tubes together or using them as mounting studs, of which there are eight in the kit, included with these floor stands with the Astera Helios Tube RGB LED Tube Light (1.8', 8-Light Kit).

Astera Helios Tube RGB LED Tube Light (1.8')

With a wide 120° beam spread, the Astera Helios Tube RGB LED Tube Light will create a soft direct light on your subject and can be used as an accent light or as a design element either on location or on set. Suitable for cine, theatrical, and event productions, the wireless tube is powered by an integrated battery that will give you 20 hours of runtime on a three-hour charge. The light outputs up to 393 lux at 3.3' (4000K) and features eight LED emitters in a 1.8' long tube. It allows mounting in areas where a Titan Tube wouldn't fit, so you can mount into a set, onto a stand, hang it from a grid, or even hold in your bare hand. The Helios Tube has impressive CRI/TLCI ratings of 96/96 to indicate high accuracy in the rendition of color. It uses RGB, mint, and amber LEDs as well as hue, saturation, and intensity control to access millions of custom colors.

Color and control are at the heart of the Helios Tube's design. The tube has an expansive white light color temperature range of 1750 to 20,000K to seamlessly blend into any ambient light situation or just exercise creative expression. You can make adjustments locally on the fixture or remotely via a console with the Helios Tube wired to it. Wireless DMX, CRMX, and other types of units can adjust functions at distances up to 990'. There's also an AsteraApp that lets you control the light with Bluetooth and IR control via an optional remote. The Helios Tube ships without a power supply so you can choose between an optional AC adapter/charger or a PowerBox.

Control

• You can use the Astera infrared remote control (not included) by simply pointing it at individual lights to set the desired effect.
• The downloadable AsteraApp is an efficient way to quickly create a customized light show using your smart device. It can group several lights together, address individual lights or groups of lights, and send complex effects with a user-defined color palette to all lights in the range.
• The light can also be controlled by CRMX (wireless DMX), as the built-in receiver is compatible with all LumenRadio CRMX transmitters.

The Foldable Stand for LED Tube Lights supports Astera AX1, FP1, and FP2 tubes in a vertical position, very close to the floor, for low-angle shooting. The three legs nest together into a compact form for space-efficient packing.
