The Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini SDI to DisplayPort 8K HDR Converter provides an advanced 8K monitoring solution. With its DisplayPort outputs you are able to use pro monitors like the Apple Pro Display XDR as part of our on-set or post-production setup. The Blackmagic Teranex Mini SDI to DisplayPort 8K HDR Converter has four 12G-SDI inputs that support 4K signals independently or an 8K input signal together, either DCI 8K or 8K video split into four UHD signals. With the built in color LCD screen you are ablate display not only video image but also two on-screen stops selected from WFM, Parade, Vector and Histogram options.
8K is available on the four SDI outputs via the single USB-C DisplayPort output or the two full-size DisplayPort outputs for monitors that support quad HDMI inputs. You can still display 8K input video even if you are on an Ultra HD or HD monitor using the built-in down-converter. This unit can also convert between 2SI and Square divisions automatically.
