The Windkiller Extra-Small Fur Slip-On Wind Protector by Bubblebee Industries is a 18mm to 24mm (Small, Black), black wind protector designed to fit shotgun microphones ranging from 18 to 24mm. Its primary function is to minimize wind noise during audio capture in outdoor environments, making it a valuable tool for various applications such as video, broadcast TV, ENG, and more.
The bottom of the Windkiller is constructed of a specially designed rubber mount that grips the microphone while still making it easy to slide it on and off. The top is a faux fur that is highly durable and works to block out wind noise. It is compatible with the following microphones: Audio-Technica AT877, AT4073; DPA 4017; Sanken CS1; Sennheiser MKH 8060; Schoeps CMIT 5U.
