The Canon Battery Grip BG-E20 for EOS 5D Mark IV features an ergonomic design to improve handling and control while extending the battery life of the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV while in use. The battery grip accepts up to two LP-E6/LP-E6N lithium-ion battery packs and can use an ACK-E6 AC Adapter Kit for continuous power.
The battery grip improves shooting when the camera is held vertically and increases comfort overall. The grip integrates several functions such as a second shutter release, multi-controller, AF area selection button. The battery grip is constructed from magnesium alloy to match that of the 5D Mark IV and is both dust- and water-resistant. Additionally, it features a camera alignment pin hole for use with certain video heads and quick release plates.
