Core SWX Sharkfin Battery Plate for Gold Mount Camera

The Core SWX Gold mount Sharkfin Battery Plate is a useful accessory for powering any camera with a Gold mount battery plate, including the RED V-RAPTOR cinema camera. This Core SWX Gold mount Sharkfin Battery Plate enables continuous power by utilizing two Gold mount batteries mounted side by side in a sharkfin design. The benefit of this design is that you can remove a depleted battery while leaving the other battery connected, resulting in no camera downtime. Additionally, the plate has two D-Tap output ports for powering accessories. This battery plate is an excellent choice for filmmakers who require a reliable and convenient power source for their camera and accessories.

The batteries can power the camera by discharging at the same time, or you can choose to discharge them one at a time and use the hot swap function. Since the ports on some cameras such as the RED V-RAPTOR are on the back, to prevent blocking them, the plate can slide away from the back of the camera to make room for your cables to plug in. Each D-Tap and power output to the camera is unregulated 11 to 17 VDC.

Sliding Design
