The SmallRig Extended Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 2/Ronin-S Gimbals designed to accommodate larger cameras, providing an additional 1.6" of length compared to the original gimbal quick release plate. SmallRig Extended Quick Release Plate for DJI RS 2/Ronin-S Gimbals offers improved leverage and extra space for attaching optional components like a rod mount for a follow focus motor, zoom motor, or lens support. With this plate, you can confidently mount and customize your camera setup for optimal performance.
There is a 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom rear of the plate to add an optional counterweight. The plate features both 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 camera mounting screws for mounting a variety of cameras. Padding on top of the plate protects your camera from twisting or scratching. Measurement markings on the side allow you to keep track of the best plate balancing position for your camera.
