Tiffen 4x5.650 Black Pro-Mist Filters are used to diffuse hard edges, reduce wrinkles in skin, and soften pastoral settings, rendering a mist look while minimizing light flare. Available in strengths of 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, and 2.
When used with digital video cameras, the mid range strengths like 1/2 and 1 help reduce the sharpness normally associated with video> The black Pro-Mist is one component that will yield a 'film look' to the image.
