The Canon VIXIA HF G21 Full HD Camcorder is a verstile camcorder featuring an impressive low-light performance and a wide dynamic range, which helps to reproduce image gradations faithfully, open up shadowed areas, and minimize overblown highlighted areas. Capture 1920 x 1080 Full HD video using a 1/2.84", 2.9MP HD CMOS Pro image sensor, and a 20x optical/400x digital zoom lens and record crisp, detailed images with Full HD 1080p60 recording in both MP4 and AVCHD file formats. The G21's pro-style features include a circular, eight-blade aperture for producing smooth, rounded highlights in out-of-focus areas (otherwise known as "bokeh") and cinefiles can enjoy a native 24p mode that provides a "film-like" capture rate. Create slow motion effects, or speed up your footage with the VIXIA HF G21's various frame rates including interval recording from 2x to 1200x normal speed. Share your footage at maximum bit rates of 35 Mb/s in MP4, and 28 Mb/s in AVCHD. 

Reduce blown-out highlights and produce smooth, accurate gradations in tone and exposure with the VIXIA HF G21's Wide DR Gamma mode. Capture saturated, accurately detailed colors in Highlight Priority mode, designed to reproduce an HDR-like look on bright LCD TV displays. An intelligent optical image-stabilization system offers Powered, Dynamic, and Auto On/Off modes for smoothing out long-lens or action footage. Additional pro-style shooting options include full manual control, assignable user buttons, an audio test tone, and display functions like zebra display and color bars. A focus peaking function highlights the edges of your subject when they're sharp, providing a quick focus check.

Use widely available media cards to record to the VIXIA HF G21's two SD/SDHC/SDXC memory-card slots. Dual and Relay Recording functions enable you to simultaneously record to both cards when you want a backup, or to relay record for an extended shooting period.
