Cartoni JIBO Three Section Compact Jib Arm

The Cartoni JIBO Three Section Compact Jib Arm is a three part Jib arm designed to be one of the most versatile and cost effective lightweight portable jibs available in the market today. The Cartoni JibO carries up to 33lbs (15 kg) and fits into a lightweight case on wheels that is included with the kit. The CARTONI JIBOﾑsconsists of 3 easy mounting parts which provide fast and easy operational flexibility and can be assembled in less than 3 minutes.

The JIBO interfaces with any 100mm bowl base tripod and for heavier set-ups a Mitchell base adapter is available for sturdier use. Another unique feature is the horizontal lock for safer set-up operation. The JIBO adds the benefit of diagonal tracking and elevation to the traditional pan and tilt movement of a standard Fluid Head. This lightweight jib weighs only 12 Kg (25 lbs), folds down to 1 meter (38") in length and permits shooting from absolute ground level to 2 meters (78") in height. The JIBO's standard configuration includes a 100mm bowl base head attachment with multiple orientation, left to right and on/under and 2 spirit levels.

Camera Mount

100mm leveling bowl. Camera stage can be easily configured for over- or under-slung configurations, and the angle is maintained with a parallel adjustable leveling arm throughout the 78" (2m) range of travel.

Counterbalance

Payload is counterbalanced quickly with an adjustable rear section and standard barbell-type iron weights, which are not included.

Base Mount

Mounts on any 100mm heavy-duty tripod capable of bearing the combined weight of the payload and jib.

Portable

Weighing just 25 lb (12 kg), the JIBO collapses without tools down to 38" (1m) in minutes for safe transport in a fitted hard case.
