The G-Technology 24TB G-RAID 2-Bay Thunderbolt 3 RAID Array Drive is an ultra-fast, high-capacity storage solution designed for the most demanding applications. The G-RAID sports dual Enterprise-class 7200 RPM hard drive storage systems with two Thunderbolt 3 ports, a single USB 3.1 Type-C port, and HDMI connectivity. The dual drive bays support both RAID 0 and RAID 1 that can provide enahanced read and write speeds with 1:1 or no data redundancy. RAID and JBOD is also supported. The G-RAID comes formatted for macOS 10.12+ and can be reformatted for Windows 8.1 and 10.
While one of the Thunderbolt 3 ports is used to interface with your host system at speeds of up to 500 MB/s, the other can be used to daisy chain up to five additional devices to your G-RAID. If your system doesn't have Thunderbolt 3, you can use the 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 port, while the HDMI port supports HDCP 2.2, HDR, and 4K/60 fps video passthrough. For those who wish to use this G-RAID with their USB Type-A system, a USB Type-C to Type-A cable is included that supports 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 (USB 3.1 Gen 2), 5 Gb/s USB 3.0 (USB 3.1 Gen 1), and 480 Mb/s USB 2.0.
