The G-Technology 4TB G-DRIVE mobile USB 3.0 5400 RPM Portable Hard Drive is a slim, light (under 6 ounces) portable hard drive for your Mac computer. It features USB 3.0 connectivity with USB 2.0 backward compatibility, a 4TB capacity, transfer rates up to 100MB/sec, 5400RPM, and an all aluminum chassis for efficient heat distribution.
The drive is factory formatted with HFS+ with Journaling and is Time Machine ready right out of the box. It's plug-and-play compatible with Mac OS X Leopard 10.6 or later, but it can be reformatted for use with Windows 8, 7, and Vista.
You won't have to worry about cable clutter either, because the unit is self-contained, running on bus power directly from your computer's USB port. It can fit easily in a briefcase or laptop bag, and even has the aluminum look of a MacBook Pro.
