The K-Tek Klassic Camera Pole is a slightly different take on the Academy Technical Award-Winning K-Tek Klassic Boompole. K-Tek took the Klassic Boompole and made the top section and handling section thicker, put an articulating thread adapter on top and made the Klassic Camera Pole. It is made of high-density graphite for maximum strength and minimum weight. The telescoping sections are connected with K-Tek's proprietary locking system with rubber dimpled sleeves around the collars.
The Klassic camera poles are great for mounting small video cameras for creative shooting; for military, security and any "point of view" situation where the camera needs to get into tight places or to give the camera a view from a distance. Monitor brackets are available for the Panavision POV AVCCAM and a generic bracket fits on the base section of the pole with a 1/4"-20 threaded stud (Appropriate for the SONY CAVHD or smaller monitors). This bracket, the K-Tek KCAMMB, has also been used to place a handheld recorder on the base of an audio boom pole.
