The Kino Flo Blue 420nm Blue SFC Lamp (Coated) - 48" displays a narrow band of the spectrum in the range of 420nm which is ideal for blue screen applications. The lamp is far preferable to tungsten lamps which introduced red contamination in the 670-800nm range making a pure blue difficult to attain and color balancing less than optimal. Plastic safety coating and rubber end caps reduce breakage.
