The Lexar Professional Workflow CFexpress, Type B 4.0 Card Reader is designed to interface with one of the drive bays in their Professional Workflow Docking Station and Workflow Go through its 40 Gb/s USB-C interface. But it also comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, so you can use it alone. It supports Windows and Mac in addition to its CFexpress 4.0 Type B card slot, is backward compatible with CFexpress 2.0 Type B, and is scratch-resistant in aluminum. If you have systems that do not yet support 40 Gb/s USB4, this card reader is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 and higher, though at less speed than the standards require with the Lexar Professional Workflow CFexpress, Type B 4.0 Card Reader.
