Perfect for rigging your lights while using existing fixtures as an anchor point. It's primary use is with recessed ceiling lights.
A cool trick is to screw a Medium Light Socket / 2 Outlet Adapter (Eagle 715) into the socket ceiling first, then you can hang up to a 1K and have a place to plug it in. You'll be offered the Eagle 715 (not included) once you place the adapter into your cart.
