The Pelican 1557 Black Air Case is a travel-ready package that offers water, dust and impact protection while not sacrificing durability or lightness. The proprietary resin helps form honeycomb structural elements, which helps reduce the weight of the case while preserving resistance.

Drop-tested and submerged to help ensure optimal performance, the case has a watertight O-ring gasket and an automatic purge valve for air pressure to protect your gear in nearly any type of environment. Two double throw latches are used to close the case, alongside stainless steel hasps that support the use of padlocks. A slight conic shape to the lid gives this case a special flair that makes it stand out among other types of protective cases.

Optimized for travel, the 1557 features overmolded handles for carrying as well as a polycarbonate card holder that can be used for adding your own personal information. This pelican case comes with pre-scored foam that can be plucked to tightly fit your equipment, and limited lifetime warranty.
