The Saramonic Supercardioid Broadcast XLR Shotgun Condenser Microphone is a shotgun microphone with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. It provides up to 150 hours of battery life, and has an additional +48V phantom power that can be used. This shotgun condenser microphone is compatible with most DSLR cameras and can be used in a variety of environments, such as ENG (Electronic News Gathering), film making, field recording, sound design and broadcast applications.
With the 150 Hz high-pass filter, unwanted low frequency noise is reduced, and the -10 dB PAD allows you to record loud audio without the risk of clipping. The +6 dB high-frequency restores some of the high frequency content that is often lost when using a windscreen and improves the intelligibility of recorded speech.Â
