Spyderco Endura Knife C10SBK
Delica and Endura models in the early '90s. These two CLIPITs introduced the public to lighter cutting tools (in two sizes) that were economically priced and featured one-hand opening and closing. Spyderco has taken the next evolutionary step and is now offering these cornerstone models with three fresh innovative features: a reversible left/right stainless steel clip, an enhanced handle texture and a VG-10 stainless steel blade. The new pocket clip detaches and can be affixed to either side of the handle for ambidextrous tip-up carry. A hollowed out screw fits through (yet retains) the lanyard hole, holding the clip in place without pivoting or slipping. With a more aggressive Volcano Grip pattern, the fiberglass-reinforced nylon resin handle offers comfortable improved handling and lasting durability. Both knives feature modified skinning-style blades produced with a new stainless steel called ATS-55. Developed specifically for the knife industry, ATS-55 takes and maintains a razor-like, enduring edge. Blade length on the Endura is 3 3/4" (95 mm), the Delica is 2 7/8" (74 mm) and both models are offered in a SpyderEdge, PlainEdge or 50/50 blade configuration. In keeping with the original versions, they remain ultra-light, the Endura weighing 2.6 oz (72.4 g) and the Delica 1.7 oz.
