The Seagate 2TB SkyHawk Surveillance SATA 6Gb/s Internal Hard Drive was made specifically for smart, safe, and secure surveillance storage. The SkyHawk maintains a 3x workload rating of desktop drives for reliable performance in write-intensive surveillance systems with a maximum 180TB/year workload rating. Using the ImagePerfect software, capture crisp and clear footage perfect for network video recorders, embedded surveillance DVRs, hybrid surveillance DVRs and surveillance DVRs. 

The SkyHawk consumes less power and generates less heat for extra-long life cycles and power efficiency.  Consistent performance is also achieved by combining the low power consumption with rotational vibration lensors for safe NVR and RAID environments. Other features include ATA streaming support from up to 64 HD cameras, 1M hours MTBF for an improved total cost of ownership with reduced maintenance costs and tarnish-resistant components. The Skyhawk Internal Drive has a  3.5" form factor with a 64MB cache.
