The SHAPE Canon C500 Mark II Adapter Plate features three holes for camera tie-down screws. This provides support to your camera as well as for protecting your camera's underside from repeated attachment to and removal from tripod plates. The plate features five 3/8"-16 and four 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes in a line that allow you to adjust the position and balance of your camera when mounted on another baseplate or directly on a tripod.
