The ADX3 includes a secure twist-lock XLR connector and offers the flexibility of supplying 12 or 48V phantom power, making it compatible with various handheld or shotgun XLR microphones for use with the Axient ADX digital wireless system.

The Shure ADX3 Axient Digital Wireless Plug-On Transmitter (G57: 470 to 616 MHz) operates in a single 146 MHz ultrawide UHF bandwidth with selectable 2/10/35mW RF output power and a transmission range up to 330'. A special HD (high density) mode provides a dramatic increase in channel count when you're running numerous mics at the same time. The transmitter provides up to 6.5 hours of operation on a Shure SB900B rechargeable lithium-ion battery (included) or 5 hours on two AA batteries. A USB-C port is supplied for recharging and powering and a USB-C to USB-A cable, pouch with belt clip, and zippered storage bag are included.
