SmallHD 502 Bright Bundle

The SmallHD 502 Bright Bundle features the 502 Bright 5" SDI/HDMI on-camera monitor with several companion accessories, including a compact wireless remote control, an anti-glare screen protector, and an LP-E6 battery and charger kit consisting of two batteries, a pocket-sized charger, and a car lighter adapter. The bundle offers a protective monitor cage, a shoe-mount tilt arm for camera-mounting the monitor, and a medium-sized hard case measuring about 11 x 10".

The 502 Bright monitor supports up to 1080p60 input signals and has a 1080p display. Connections include 3G-SDI and HDMI input and output, with cross-conversion supported. The monitor has a daylight-viewable high brightness of 1000 cd/m² and a wide viewing angle of 179°. Image controls include anamorphic de-squeeze, waveform, support for real-time 3D LUTs, and more. The 502 Bright runs on SmallHD's Page Builder operating system, which provides an intuitive user experience.

SmallHD 502 Bright On-Camera Monitor

Based off the original 502 monitor, the SmallHD 502 Bright On-Camera Monitor brings a bright 1000 cd/m² panel to the compact platform. While the 5" display is bright it doesn't sacrifice resolution, yet it won't overwhelm a DSLR or mirrorless camera if secured to the accessory shoe. The 1920 x 1080 panel is sharp and can be used to check critical focus and exposure. The wealth of monitoring tools included with this monitor are easily accessible using the innovative PageBuilder OS which utilizes customizable pages to cycle through monitor inputs and outputs, as well as your favorite tools.

The unibody aluminum exterior keeps the monitor durable yet lightweight, while also acting as a heatsink for the internal electronics. A bumper is included for further protection. At the rear of the display you'll find the SDI and HDMI I/O. Having two of each port allows for cycling two different signals, cross conversion, or sending a signal downstream to another monitor, switcher, or wireless accessory.

PageBuilder OS

PageBuilder OS is an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) that puts all the advanced functionality of the monitor at your fingertips. Rather than have confusing menus, this GUI allows you to selectively apply monitoring tools such as waveform, vectorscope, multiview, LUTs, and focusing aids on different "pages". These pages can be easily flipped through using the joystick. The buttons on the front panel can also toggle monitoring tools on and off for each page.

SmallHD Mounting Cage for 502 Bright Monitor

The Mounting Cage from SmallHD installs brackets on the left and right side of the 502 Bright monitor for multiple side-mounting locations. It is constructed of milled aluminum.

SmallHD Medium Hard Case for 500/700-Series Monitors

Protect your 500 or 700-series monitor with this Medium Hard Case from SmallHD. The inside of the case is comprised of pick-and-pluck foam which can be easily customized to the shape of your monitor and essential accessories you may want to carry alongside your monitor. A rubber gasket seal keeps the case air and water-tight, while an automatic pressure purge system ensures the case is easy to open in pressure-differential situations. Molded-in padlock holes near the latches let you guard your monitor from theft. SmallHD BT-1 Wireless Remote Control for 500/700 Series Monitors

The BT-1 Wireless Remote Control from SmallHD can be used with 500 and 700 series on-board monitors. This finger-sized unit is particularly useful when employing the monitor as an EVF (electronic viewfinder) for your camcorder or DSLR. All of the monitor's settings can be accessed through the RC. The BT-1 Wireless Remote Control can be mounted to a handgrip, gimbal, tripod, etc. Up to three units may be paired to the same monitor, eliminating the need to detach the RC and carry it from one rig to another.

For ease of use, the BT-1 Wireless Remote Control replicates the same joystick and push-button controls found on the monitor itself. The selection orientation (up/down, L/R, etc.) of the joystick and buttons can be changed to suit how the RC is mounted - upright, upside down, or sideways. An auto-save function kicks in after two minutes of inactivity, saving battery power. The BT-1 Wireless Remote Control's firmware is updated wirelessly from the monitor.

Note: The monitor must be updated with the latest firmware in order to work with the BT-1 RC.

SmallHD Anti-Glare Screen Protector for 500 Series Monitors

Use this SmallHD Anti-Glare Screen Protector to protect your 500-series monitor's LCD panel while experiencing reduced reflectivity when compared to the standard acrylic screen protector. This protector installs directly on the screen and does not provide impact protection like the acrylic screen protector.

SmallHD LP-E6 Battery and Charger Kit

Power your monitor with the SmallHD LP-E6 Battery and Charger Kit, an all-inclusive battery solution for SmallHD monitors. This kit comes with two LP-E6 type batteries and a single-bay charger. The charger has a convenient flip-out USA plug which can be adapted for European use via the included Euro plug. If you're on-the-go, the 12 VDC power connector can also be used to connect the charger.
