The Windkiller Extra-Small Fur Slip-On Wind Protector by Bubblebee Industries is a 23mm to 26mm (Extra-Small, Black), black wind protector designed to fit shotgun microphones ranging from 18 to 24mm. Its primary function is to minimize wind noise during audio capture in outdoor environments, making it a valuable tool for various applications such as video, broadcast TV, ENG, and more.
The bottom of the Windkiller is constructed of a specially designed rubber mount that grips the microphone while still making it easy to slide it on and off. The top is a faux fur that is highly durable and works to block out wind noise. It is compatible with the following microphones: Audio-Technica AT877, AT4073; DPA 4017; Sanken CS1; Sennheiser MKH 8060; Schoeps CMIT 5U.
