The Zacuto Rod Support Base for GH5 or Sony a7RIII/a7III/a9 Cage is a support base that adds a 15mm lightweight rod support to either the GH5 or the Sony a7RIII/a7III/a9, allowing you to mount matte boxes and other rod-mounted accessories. It can be mounted onto a tripod via 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting holes, and the included 8" rods are able to slide through the support base, giving you length adjustability. You can easily slide the base of the cage into the rod support, and it will securely lock into place. If you are looking for added flexibility, the Zacuto Rod Support Base also has a dovetail mount, so you can slide it into the Zacuto VCT Pro baseplate (purchased separately).
