Zacuto VariCam LT Top Plate Kit

The Zacuto VariCam LT Top Plate Kit is a kit that is specifically designed for the Panasonic VariCam LT cinema camera. The Zacuto VariCam LT Top Plate Kit low-profile top-handle and accessory mounting solution includes the VariCam Top Plate, a 3" Z-Rail, and the Recoil Top Handle. The Zacuto VariCam LT Top Plate Kit mounts onto the top of the camera with the help of four included screws. The Top Plate provides you with more than enough 1/4"-20 threaded holes, four 3/8"-16 holes, and two rear vertical 15mm rod ports, which allow you to mount a variety of accessories. 15mm rods can also be mounted to the front of the plate with the help of separately available Z-Locks, thus giving you the possibility of mounting lens drive motors, if needed.

The 3" Z-Rail attaches to the center screw holes on the plate, providing a quick release interface for securing the Recoil Handle. Besides providing a convenient means of carrying your camera rig between setups, the Recoil Handle also provides additional accessory mounting points in the form of two shoe mounts, a single 1/4"-20 threaded hole, and two 15mm rod ports. The rod ports are particularly useful for attaching an optional Axis Mini EVF Mount.

VariCam LT Top Plate
